Terms and conditions of sale

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This is a courtesy translation. In case of discrepancy the Italian text prevails, being the original version.

These are the rules for what happens when you order on ipizzacchiere.com. We've written them to be understood: where the law obliges us to say something in a certain way, we say it, and then we explain it.

1 · Who is selling to you

MICELI DARIO

Via San Miniato 2 — 50125 Firenze (FI)

VAT no. 07465550486

Phone +39 055 2466332

Email ipizzacchierefirenze@gmail.com

2 · When an order is really an order

This is the point it's worth reading properly.

  • When you press “Order”, you send us a purchase proposal.
  • The contract is concluded when the pizzeria accepts the order, not before.
  • You notice it straight away: on the order page the status changes to “Confirmed”, and an email reaches you.

📌 Why this isn't a detail: the pizzeria may not accept — if the ingredients have run out, if the evening is too full, if the address is out of area. In that case there is no contract at all and you are not charged anything (if you had paid by card, see point 6).

3 · The prices

The prices are the ones written on the site at the moment you order, VAT included.

⚠️ Prices can vary by day and by time slot. What you see while you order is what you pay: before you confirm, the summary shows you the exact total, with the delivery charge if there is one.

If a price were wrong because of an obvious mistake, the pizzeria may not accept the order and will tell you so — with a full refund if you had already paid.

4 · Delivery and collection

You can choose to collect at the pizzeria or to have it delivered.

The delivery area, the cost and the minimum order change and are decided by the pizzeria. 👉 You always see them before you confirm: if your address is out of area, or if you don't reach the minimum, the site tells you while you're ordering, not afterwards.

About the times: the time you see is an estimate, not a promise. It depends on how many orders there are, on the traffic and on the weather. We do our best and we keep you updated on the order page, but a delay is not a breach of contract.

There has to be somebody there for the delivery. If we find nobody at your address and we can't reach you on the number you left, the order is still owed: the food is prepared and it can't be sold again.

5 · How you pay

Two ways:

CashYou pay on delivery or on collection, directly to whoever brings you the order
CardYou pay online, on the secure page of our payment provider

🔴 With a card, the money is taken straight away

This is important and we want you to know it beforehand, not afterwards. When you pay by card, the amount is charged at the moment of the order, that is before the pizzeria has accepted it.

👉 If the pizzeria doesn't accept, the refund starts on its own, without you having to ask for anything. See point 6.

Your card number doesn't pass through our site and we don't keep it: you enter it on the page of our payment provider, which is an authorised institution.

6 · If the order doesn't go through

If the pizzeria doesn't accept your order — ingredients run out, a full evening, an address out of area:

  • no contract is concluded;
  • if you had paid by card, the refund starts automatically, for the full amount;
  • we tell you on the order page and by email, with the reason written out.

If you have paid and the payment doesn't go through, the order doesn't start and you are not charged anything.

⏱️ The refund times: we send it straight away. How long it takes to reappear on your card depends on your bank — usually a few working days. It isn't a time that we can shorten.

7 · If you want to cancel

You can cancel the order for as long as the pizzeria hasn't accepted it: you'll find the button on the order page and in “My orders”. If you had paid by card, the refund starts straight away.

Once it has been accepted it can no longer be cancelled from the site, because at that point the pizza is already being made. Call us on +39 055 2466332: if we're in time we'll find a solution.

8 · There is no right to change your mind, and we'll tell you why

For online purchases the law usually gives you fourteen days to change your mind. For food prepared to order it doesn't apply, and this is provided for by the law itself: art. 59(1)(d) of the Codice del Consumo (the Italian consumer code, Legislative Decree 206/2005), which excludes withdrawal for goods that deteriorate rapidly.

📌 Put simply: a pizza made for you can't be given back. That's why point 7 exists — cancelling before it starts is your real way out.

If instead something is wrong — the order arrives incomplete, or it isn't what you had asked for — call us straight away: that isn't a change of mind, it's a mistake of ours, and it gets sorted out.

9 · Alcoholic drinks

On the menu there are beer, wine and spirits.

  • 🔴 The sale of alcohol to under-18s is forbidden by law, and we respect that.
  • By ordering alcoholic products you declare that you are at least 18 years old.
  • On delivery you may be asked for an identity document. If you can't show one, or if you turn out to be under age, the alcoholic products are not delivered to you — and you are refunded for them; the rest of the order we leave with you.

10 · Allergens and intolerances

The information on ingredients and allergens is given on the site and on the dedicated page.

⚠️ One thing we have to tell you honestly: ours is a small kitchen, where flour, gluten, dairy, eggs and nuts are worked on the same surfaces and in the same ovens. We cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.

👉 If you have a serious allergy, call us before ordering. We'd rather say no to you than make you ill.

11 · The pizza course

How booking works

  • You book from the site, and the pizzeria confirms your place — by phone or by email.
  • You can choose whether to pay in advance or on the day: paying in advance is arranged directly with the pizzeria.

If you can't come

🟢 You can cancel free of charge until 23:59 on the day before, and if you had paid we refund you everything. Just call us or write to us.

📌 Note that the law wouldn't oblige us to give you this: for leisure activities with a specific date the right of withdrawal is excluded (art. 59(1)(n) of the Codice del Consumo). We give it to you all the same, because a person who can't come isn't a problem to be punished.

⚠️ From the day of the course onwards the place stays taken and, if you had paid, the amount is not returned: at that point the ingredients have been bought and the place has been taken away from somebody else.

If it's us who can't run the course — too few people signed up, something unforeseen — we let you know and we refund you everything, or else we move you to a date you choose yourself.

12 · Your account

If you register, the password is your responsibility: don't give it to anyone. If you think someone has got into it, change it and let us know.

You can delete your account whenever you want. The orders already placed stay in our accounting records, because tax law obliges us to keep them — but they are no longer linked to your profile.

13 · If something goes wrong

Write to us at ipizzacchierefirenze@gmail.com or call +39 055 2466332. We answer ourselves, not a call centre.

If we can't come to an agreement, before going to court you can turn to a mediation body registered with the Italian Ministry of Justice — for example the one at the Chamber of Commerce of Florence. It's quicker and it costs a lot less.

14 · Law and competent court

Italian law applies to this contract.

📌 If you are a consumer, for any dispute the competent court is the one of the place where you reside or have your domicile, if it is in Italy: it's a protection the law gives to you, and we don't limit it.

15 · If these conditions change

We may update them. The version that applies to your order is the one published at the moment you place it, and the date at the top tells you which that is.
